I want to plan my Florida wedding, where do I start?

First, we recommned you review our all inclusive Florida wedding packages to see what appeals to the needs for your dream Florida wedding.  Once you have selected your package, click on "contact us" and inquire about your date(s). We take it from there -guiding you through every single step, taking the stress out of the wedding planning experience making it enjoyable and exciting.

Our focus is making your wedding day stress free and as close to your vision and dream as possible.  We handle every single detail, you just show up!

Are beach wedding permits included in the packages?

No. Uusally, our couples provide their permit.  We will apply for one for the desired location 60 days proior to ceremony date this is as a courtesy should there not be one provided.  The fee is the responsibility to the couple and is subject to City/County changes.

Are the location beach wedding permit fees included in the package?

No. All locations have their own fees and rules and they all vary.  Our couples usually supply thier permit to us shortly after booking the location. If a permit is not supplied, we will reach out about 60 days prior to the wedding date and offer to handle application. This is a courtesy and the fee additional is not included in our pricing.

May I modify a package to better suit my needs?

You may only "add" to our packages via a la carte menu.  Our packages are discounted as they are designed, so we do not offer any further discount if you do not want certain items in the package and/or do not need (all) of chairs/seating provided w/the package. Our packages are designed for an "up to" amount of guests.. so if the package includes 20, and you only have 15, etc. the price stays the same.

If you have MORE guests than any certain package includes, you may absolutely add as many as you like and we will adjust accordingly for chairs, favors, etc.

Is the location permit part of the packages for beach weddings?

The permit is the responsibility of the couple however if you have not supplied one, we will apply on your behalf as a courtesy.  We will do this on or about 60 days prior  to your ceremony date.

Do I need a Florida Marriage License for my Florida wedding? If so, how do I get one?

Yes, to be married in Florida, you must obtain a FLORIDA marriage license. Florida residents must appear in person at any county courthouse with a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license or a passport. NON-Florida residents can get their license in person at any county courthouse OR by mail. See this link for a county in Florida that offers license by mail.  The marriage license can be used anywhere in Florida and is valid for 60 days from the date it is issued. Non-residents DO NOT have a waiting period; they can be married as soon as their marriage license is issued. Blood tests are not required for anyone. For more information, CLICK HERE for the corresponding County Clerk of Courts that will apply for the area you will be visiting/having your ceremony.

Do you offer beach reception options?

YES!  We offer a white wedding tent with table that includes a cake and refreshments.  Our largest package, The Dream, includes a mini tent recpeption. Have your cake, first dance, toss the bouquet .. all on the beach!  This option may not be available for some locations.

May I have more guests than the package advertises?

Of course! We design our packages for our average and most common wedding sizes.  However,  we can easily accommodate large weddings (we've done up to 175 on the beach).  This is not a problem, we just need to know ahead of time as some locations have limited parking and we like to plan and suggest accordingly. Guest surcharge applies for added guests to any package. 

How long does the ceremony take?

The actual ceremony is only about 15 or 20 minutes, however the entire experience including photography will be a total of approximately 1-1.5 hours.  I always say it depends on how much fun we're having!   We love to shoot, so if the kodak moments keep coming it may be a bit longer!

How do I know what beach location to choose?

Our main area/"local" area is Cocoa Beach. This is the beach we do most of our weddings. It is not only one of the most beautiful and picutresque beaches in Florida,but it also has plenty of parking and facilities and a "take cover" option should that become a need.  If you have a request for a different location, please specifiy this in your initial inquiry.

I have decided to have a beach wedding or garden wedding. What now?

Click on "Contact Us" and inquire about date availability. We will take it from there!  We check the date for you and send you a full brochure of the package(s) you've selected.  

The most popular month(s) of the year for a wedding on the beach in Florida are March- November. I'ts always happy and Sunny in Florida so our wedding "season" is year round!  Keep in mind that Friday & Saturday sunset ceremonies are the first to be booked. We will be able to provide you the sunset time for the date upon your inquiry.

We highly recommend WEEKDAY weddings for many reasons some being less people on the beach, plenty of parking everywhere you go, restaurant and ballroom/hotel reservations are plentiful, etc.  So if you can do a Monday-Thursday wedding.. it's always a great idea!

I want to book my date, but I'm not sure which package to choose. What do I do?

If you are ready to book a date, you must choose a package or request a custom package using our A la carte menu.  We do not allow downgrade of a pcakge once a package and date are contracted, so we recommend trying to choose a package that at least has the basics of what you are looking for and then you can always upgrade . You may add to your package at any time up to 45 days prior to your date and/or upgrade your package (items and services are based on availability at the time of upgrade/added item request).

Do you perform double weddings?

Yes, absolutely.  There is a base fee of $375 for this to any package.  This would allow for more time/customization for your written ceremony as well as more photography time to ensure each couple gets plenty of portraits, and duplicate copies of high res images.

Do you pick the location for the ceremony or do we?

The beaches and Orlando Gardens we use regularly and are featured on our site under locations.  However, we do not necessarily limit our locations to those featured on our site. Our locations however are chosen based on parking/facilites and of course a beautiful backdrop for your photos!  

We can setup at almost any location, including your own backyard, hotel, boats, etc. WE CAN COME TO YOU! Special request locations must also come with permission (in some cases written or permit) and must have clear and legal parking, and must have access that is close to ceremony site.  Please no stairs, our decorations are transported on wheels. Please call if you would like to discuss the location you are thinking of.  Permit fee for any location is not included in our pricing.

Will you do a wedding on a holiday?

Yes. We will do weddings on some major holidays.  Packages are at a premium of 50% on top of the published package price or total a la carte services/items on the certain holidays that we will consider doing weddings. These include but are not limited to Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Year's Day, Valentines Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Halloween.  We do not offer services on Christmas Day or Thanksgiving.

I've booked my wedding, but I've decided I'd like to change the date. May I do this?

YES.  Based on availability, you may change your current date to a future date.  A fee of $500 is charged for any date change.  If date change is due to mandatory evacuation or hurricane warning this fee does not apply.

Can we get married at the location in which we are staying or request a special location on the beach?

Yes, we are open to alternate locations that we frequent.  If it is a private property or a special requested "off the beaten path" type of access that is not part of the state/county parks we use... We would then need you to obtain written permission in advance from the management/owner of the private property we have to use to access the public beach behind it.  and/or, obtain permission from the local government.

In ANY case:  The access must be clear and easy access- meaning we must be able to (legally) park direclty by the site we are decorating, and there are no stairs between vehicle and ceremony site. Please inquire for more details.


Do you offer Military discount?

Yes, we proudly support our service men and women of the military and offer a 10% discount on package price.  Discount does not extend to or apply to added items post-booking or Live musician(s).  Thank you for your service!

Will there be other people on the beach?

Yes. All beaches in the State of Florida are public and we do not have the right to block off any part of the beach for our purposes. Fortunately, Central Florida beaches are not extremely crowded any time of the year. We usually have the weddings just before sunset when the light is the most brilliant and romantic, and most families visiting the beaches are already packed and headed home by this time. Usually, we find most people do respect the event happening and just keep their distance.

Where are you located?

We are located in “Honeymoon Central” Florida, near the Orlando/Disney attractions as well as Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral, the largest cruise ship port in Florida! We service mainly the Central Florida area, however having both lived in from the southern most to the northernmost part of Florida, we are familiar with, and willing to travel to any destination in Florida for an additional fee upon request based on travel time and services included. WE CAN COME TO YOU!

Our headquarters are located in Satellite Beach, right in the midde of the East side of the state of Florida. 1680 Highway A1A, Satellite Beach, FL 32937 come in and see us!

Can we extend the professional photographic services to cover a reception?

Yes! this is common that the pre-ceremony activities (getting ready) and the post ceremony Reception and party are requested to also be covered by our photography, that is not a problem at all you can add this to your package, based on how much time you want to add.

Do we meet prior to the wedding day?

We are very thorough in preparing our couples way in advance as most of our couples are from out of the area. For this reason, it is usually unnecessary to meet prior to the wedding day. We do offer a rehearsal for an additional fee if you so desire and our largest package The Dream does include a rehearsal for our local area.  Our focus is making your day stress free and as close to perfect as possible, so emails and calls are unlimited, please never hesitate to contact us with any questions!

Can you help us with hair and makeup suggestions?

Yes!  We have those resources listed here on our website.  We only link to experienced and proven vendors that we have worked with before and have had a history of impressive results. 

Can we write our own vows?

Of course! You are welcome to write your own vows, in fact, we encourage that! it's such a romantic and touching way to express the promises you are making to each other. You will discuss these options in detail with your officiant once you book your pacakge.

What happens if we have to cancel?

All deposits are non-refundable. If you paid in full at the time of booking you will be refunded balance after deposit minus any costs incurred planning the ceremony, i.e. deposit for live music, fresh floral, etc. (this is only example as planning is different for each couple and how close to the actual ceremony you cancel).

What if there is rain on our wedding day?

Most Florida Beach Wedding or Florida Destination wedding locations do have pavilions we can relocate to as a "take cover" option or you can rent as a Plan B - or if you are staying at a hotel, you can ask if we can set up in a vacant room on site. In our experience, the weather has been a problem only occasionally and not as common as you may think.  A backup plan is wise and recommended, and is the responsibility of the couple to provide. Based on availability, we will make every effort to postpone till the following available day or assist in finding a possible alternate location.

Do you handle the reception?

We cover the Photography and Videography for your reception. We do not decorate or plan your reception, however, we are more than happy to refer you to all vendors in the area that can help you with that. CLICK HERE for local venues, vendors and resources.

Is there additional charge to get married during a Holiday?

Yes. We will perform services on a holiday.  The package price is doubled.  This includes December 24th, December 25th, January 1st, Memorial Day and 4th of July.

Do we need a license to renew vows?

Florida does not require a license to renew vows.

Who performs the ceremony?

The Officiant is provided with all of our packages. Shannon, a Licensed Florida Notary, or another trusted and experienced Officiant or Minister on our team will be performing the ceremony depending on availability.  Once you book your package with us, your officiant is immediately booked also and will contact you directly to introduce herself/himself and begin discussing the details of your ceremony.

Do you provide chairs?

Yes, we include chairs/seating in some of our packages.  We offer white folding wood chairs with cushioned seats or bamboo folding chairs. You can see our a la carte link for this option.  We also offer chair covers and color sashes.  And BRAND NEW as of March 2014, we added rustic reclaimed wood bench seating to our options!

Does it cost anything to use the beach for our Florida destination wedding?

For most beaches, the beach is free and open to the public. There are some state parks and some locations that now charge a permit fee. This is NOT included in our package prices, as this is a case by case basis. Please inquire as to your chosen location, and we will advise whether there is a permit required for that beach.

How many photos will we receive with a typical ceremony package?

Our ceremonies are approximately (1) hour total time. You will receive all edited high resolution images, with a downloadable print release.  You will receive approx. 150 images depending on how much fun we're having!  (for larger packages with more photo coverage, this yields more photos).
