A:
We are located in "Honeymoon Central" Florida, near
the Orlando/Disney attractions as well as Kennedy Space
Center and Port Canaveral, the largest cruise ship port
in Florida! We service mainly the Central Florida
area, however having both lived in from the southern most
to the northernmost part of Florida, we are familiar with,
and willing to travel to any destination in Florida for
an additional fee upon request based on travel time and
services included. WE CAN COME TO YOU!
Q:
Does
it cost anything to use the beach for our wedding?
A:
Not at all, the beach is free and open to
the public.
Q:
How
long does the ceremony take?
A:
The full package including photography, cake cutting,
etc. will take approximately 1 hour. More simple ceremony
not involving photography usually takes about 15 minutes.
Q:
I
have decided to have a beach or garden wedding. What now?
A:

to check date availability. The most popular times
of the year for a wedding on the beach in this area is
March- November; although we do offer our services year
round. The most popular months being May, June, September
and October; although mid December, 2006 we were still
having weather in the mid 70's. Keep in mind that Friday
& Saturday sunset ceremonies are the first to be booked.
We will be able to provide you the sunset time for
the date upon your inquiry.
Q:
How
do we book our wedding?
A:

most suited to your needs and the availability is confirmed
through our office, we require the respective deposit
or in-full payment for the services requested. We will
email or fax our Booking Form that will need to be filled
out, signed and mailed with proper deposit or in-full

Once payment is received and funds are clear, we send
our wedding packet to the happy couple, confirming the
date and supplying any and all information you will need
for your upcoming ceremony! Remember our focus is making
your day stress free and as close to perfect as possible,
so emails and calls are unlimited, please never hesitate
to contact us with any questions!
Q:
Do
you pick the location for the ceremony or do we?
A:
The location is the choice of the couple. The
beaches and Orlando locations are all available with pictures
on the locations link, but we do not limit our locations
to those featured on our site. We can perform ceremonies
at any location you choose, including your own backyard,
hotel, boats, etc. WE CAN COME TO YOU! There is an additional
travel fee for "out of area". The fee is based upon the
travel distance and services requested. Please CONTACT
US for a quote for any specific destination(s) not
featured in our site locations.
Q:
Do
we meet prior to the wedding day?
A:
We are very thorough in preparing our couples way in advance
as most of our couples are from out of town. For this
reason, it is usually unnecessary to meet prior to the
wedding day. We do offer a rehearsal for an additional
fee if you so desire. Remember our focus is making your
day stress free and as close to perfect as possible, so
emails and calls are unlimited, please never hesitate
to contact us with any questions!
Q:
Can
we get married at the location in which we are staying?
A:
Yes, as long as you obtain written permission in advance
from the management/owner to insure this does not conflict
with previously scheduled events/weddings. Be sure to
ask if there is an additional fee for the use of the beach
for the wedding. The couple is responsible for any
"fees" that may be charged.
Q:
Will
there be other people on the beach?
A:
Yes. All beaches in the State of Florida are
public and we do not have the right to block off any part
of the beach for our purposes. Fortunately, Central Florida
beaches are not extremely crowded any time of the year.
We usually have the weddings just before sunset when the
light is the most brilliant and romantic, and most families
visiting the beaches are already packed and headed home
by this time. Usually, we find most people do respect
the event happening and just keep their distance.
Q:
Who
performs the ceremony?
A:
The Officiate is provided with all of our packages.
Shannon, a Licensed Florida Notary, or another trusted
and experienced officiate in our team will be performing
the ceremony depending on availability.
Q:
What
happens to the license after the ceremony?
A:
The following business day of the marriage we will hand
deliver the license to the County Clerk of the court.
The Clerks' office will them mail the couple the certified
copy. Should the couple still be in town the next business
day- they can return the license in person and receive
the certified copy right there on the spot if preferred.
Q:
Can
we write our own vows?
A:
Of course! Just let us know in advance so we can plan
accordingly to incorporate those vows in the ceremony.
We suggest having the vows in a scroll for bride and groom
to open and read to each other. We can help with that.
Q:
Do
you provide chairs?
A:
Yes, although most people will stand, there is
sometimes a need for chairs for elderly members of the
family, etc. We include chairs in some of our packages,
but you can add them to any package. We offer up to 20
chairs. See a la carte menu for prices.
Q:
What
if there is bad weather the day of the wedding?
A:
Most beachside locations do have pavilions we can relocate
to…or if you are staying at a hotel, you can ask if we
can set up in a vacant room on site. In our experience,
the weather has been a problem only occasionally. A backup
plan is wise, and is the responsibility of the couple.
Based on availability, we will make every effort to postpone
till following day or assist in finding a possible alternate
location.
Q:
What
happens if we have to cancel?
A:
All deposits are non-refundable. If
you paid in full at the time of booking you will be refunded
balance after deposit minus any costs incurred planning
the ceremony, i.e. deposit for live music, fresh floral,
etc. (this is only example as planning is different for
each couple and how close to the actual ceremony you cancel).
Q:
Do
you handle the receptions?
A:
Sorry, we do not - however we are more than happy
to refer you to all vendors in the area that can help
you with that. CLICK HERE for
local vendors and resources.
Q:
Can
we extend the professional photographic services to cover
a reception?
A:
Yes, upon request and for additional fee, our professional
photographers can extend their time, based on availability.
Q:
Is
there additional charge to get married during a Holiday?
A:
Yes. Upon request, we will perform services on a holiday,
and an additional fee is required, depending on the holiday
and availability.
Q:
Do
we need a license to renew vows?
A:
Florida does not require a license to renew
vows.
